Positive aspects:
Visit of the Jasna Gora left an impression of the highest rate. Very pleasant walk along the main alley for pedestrians.

Positive aspects:
We were there only for one night on a demanding bike tour, so were maybe unique in not being interested in visitng Jesna Gora. The city centre is close to the hotel, and we dined in the Old Town, in a really nice and quality bistro recommended by the hotel. Top marks for that.
Negative aspects:
It's a big town, heavily geared to the tourism around Jesna Gora. I imagine that for big festival days, it would be hard to get a room or avoid the crowds. |

Positive aspects:
Telepizza was an excellent value for Canadian Travellers who enjoy eating pizza. Of course, Jasna Gora should not be missed for the spiritual experience.
Negative aspects:
The Polonia hotel is not within walking distance of Jasna Gora. When determining where to park your car, you can drive all the way to Jasna Gora and park in the church parking area giving a donation for a parking. |

Positive aspects:
Czestohova is a very nice town. Very nice city market. The church is very impressive. I would recommend visiting it. I do hope that this one time elegant town is returned to its former glory. Did not eat at any restaurant.

Positive aspects:
Jasna Góra is a must (and probably the reason for people to go to Czestochowa at all), and the hotel is situated just at the foot of the sanctuary hill. The medieval style restaurant "Karczma" (probably the best in town) is recommendable.
Negative aspects:
Avoid Jasna Góra on Sundays and holidays when it is very crowded. In the spring, the choice of cafés and restaurants is limited; most of them are closed. |
