Positive aspects:
Bydgoszcz was bigger then I expected so it was good that taxis were readily available and cheap. Some nice places for cakes and coffee in the town and we found a nice shopping centre with a good choice of shops and a large Carrefour. We were there for the speedway which is well worth going to to see the Poles get really excited. 
Negative aspects:
We were there on a Saturday - all the shops close in the afternoon in the old town though the cafes were open. Better to try and stay in one of the hotels in the town centre. Not one of the prettiest Polish towns. |

Positive aspects:
Hospitality of the Polish people. I recommend a river-boat trip along the Brda. Excellent restuarants with good quality food and excellent service

I would certainly return again and I ate at some excellent restaurants but I was with a local guida and can't remember the names!

Positive aspects:
I had dinner at "la dolce vita" very nice experience good food and friendly service. I definitely recommend this restorant. Good value for money.

Positive aspects:
I found the town interesting, there are some very impressive old buildings.The people are friendly and the cost of food and drink is very competitive.I will return to Bydgozcz as it is ideal for a long weekend.
Negative aspects:
The only negative aspect is that flights are restricted to Stansted,which is a two hour drive from where I live. |
